The Proud Twins [jem]

It seems to me that there are some fans of the legendary siblings here. So, I just wanted to let you all know that Jem's capturing The Proud Twins, Jue shi shuang Jiao. Yay! w00t

Starring Jimmy Lin and Tae. And a guest appearance from Alec. Wub

I guess you could say its a continuation of the legendary twins series.

A young man's life is forever changed when he goes out to avenge his parents' murders. Cast: Jimmy Lin, Tae, Alec Su, Tian Xin. Debuts Wed Jan 12 at 10.30pm

Twenty years ago, in the pugilistic world appeared a swordsman who was very highly skilled in martial arts and only interested to compete with other swordsmen. Four leaders of reputable sects died under his sword. Both Xiao Yuer and Hua Wu Que, invincible in martial arts, decided to have a match with him in order to restore peace.

Both of them went missing later and the swordsman never appeared again. It was rumoured that Xiao Yuer and Hua Wu Que had sacrificed their lives for the pugilistic world, and thus they became a legend. The whereabouts of their sons are not known.

Twenty years later…

In Jiangnan, ‘Long Yang Zhen’ is tended to by a gangster Big Brother Yu. He brought up a son, aged 20, whom everyone calls Xiao Yu (Jimmy Lin). As he was brought up in such a complicated environment, his personality is frivolous and gangster-like. He isn’t very skilled in martial arts, but is very intelligent and enjoys making fun of others.

On a quiet and beautiful mountain, the few inhabitants lead a simple life. Among them lived a couple who has a son, Wu Ji (Tae). On the surface, Wu Ji is an ordinary woodcutter, but he is actually well-trained in the art of swordfighting. Six months earlier, Wu Ji was cleaning the house when he found a manual. He would secretly learn it at night and within just half a year, his skills had become remarkable.

But the peaceful life at the mountains is short-lived: a mysterious carnage hit the village. When Wu Ji returns home one night after his training, he finds his parents lying in pools of blood. The distraught young man picks up a piece of jade believed to be left behind by the murderer. He packs his bags and leaves, hoping to avenge his parents. Little did he know that his departure will change his whole life.

After investigating, Wu Ji learns that the jade belongs to Xiao Yu, and sets upon himself the task of killing him.
