Exactly what I was thinking when I saw that Meteor Garden was right behind Lavendar.
I really want to see Lavendar... especially now that so many people have said it's such a great drama. Big Smile I hope it wins.

Excuse moi but MG 1 was my first Chinese Drama and I loved it.. F4 were newbies at acting so it's entirely understandable that their acting sucks, however, they've got their oh-so shuai exterior Wub who cares for anything else Laugh

Seriously tho, MG 1 made me search for more Cdrama and I've been loving it ever since.
MG1 isn't critically acclaimed and it won't win any acting prizes but it was fun and entertaining and I'm one happy chick if I can get at least that much out of any series.. Tongue

I haven't seen Meteor Garden I, and I've heard good things about it. So I voted for that.

MG1 (and 2, which I didn't find necessarily bad, just painful) was the first 'fluke' for me when it came to deviating from my normal preference for ancient Chinese series. My very first opinion when seeing some commercials for it was that it's lame/boring, but after a friend lent it to me, I totally got sucked in. Definitely has its moments and one very cool fella Tongue Looking back on it now, MG's quite a silly series (though certainly not as lame as some Crazy) compared to my new fav modern series Wub but if not for F4 back then...I wouldn't know about this one now.

But I'm still hoping Lavender'll win, since I have yet to experience it. But whichever wins will be exciting Cool

finally, CSOTM!! waited a long time for this. thanks for making it happen!! Laugh my choice for this month..lavender. have watched MG and DOMD already. hoping for newer series to be nominated next month.

I have seen all of these except for The Champion.

Meteor Garden was by far the best u__u; but of course i'm a girl so eh...i'm a bit biased in that area.

Lavender does not live up to its hype. It has a predictable ending and very predictable characters, not that i did not enjoy it greatly. pinch The theme songs were very good and the actors/actresses were very pretty...not that they could act.

Duke of Mt. Deer is VERY entertaining but hard to sub...i dont' know how non-chinese speaking people will truly get the greatness of this series. Anyways, Meteor Garden forever. pinch
