I think, he did it because he trusted her. Kyosuke found her presence soothing. He though that she understood him. And because he's been alone since his mother left him... Poor guy. And look what he gets for showing his true feelings?
As I said, poor guy...

Oh, sorry, Issy... =(
But at least, I get it, you understand most of what's going on. My Japanese is still bad, so I don't catch the complicated stuff. I'll have to rewatch the whole series when the subbing is complete. So I guess, in some sense we are even =)

I envy you though.
oh dear, you are giving me too much credit. NOT that good in Nihongo yet but to be honest, i have no patience when it comes to waiting for subs. specially for dramas that i love.
will try watching two eps tonight.

Heh, same here!
Unfortunately, there are some of Tomo's dramas which are still to be translated =( But that never prevents Tomogirls from enjoying his works. It's still a pity. Only once did I get lucky: I had watched Handoku raw, but after joining TTT I found that there was a subbed version. It was so funny how I misunderstood several important points in the plot. But at least I was already prepared for the ending. It wasn't so hard the second time.
So I think, there's some profit in watching dramas raw. That way we don't have to be distracted by the lower part of the screen with subs, but instead give our full attention to our favorite man =)

i have to say that in my case is quiet apposite. it happened that i missed the subs so many times because i was focusing too much on our favourite man and had to rewind.
can't help it specially when he does look so fine.

may I ask, where you found the subbed version of handoku? I'm dying to see this dorama with english subtitles, but never could find more than the first two episodes.
