i'm not sure what you've been reading, but nothing in your post makes sense.  media player classic helps you play your video files. to see the subs, you'll need another program, such as vobsub. the download link on the first page that you're talking about...are you talking about the first page for the subtitle thread? to get the subtitle file, just right click and choose 'save as' in that box at the bottom of the first post. if you're talking about the links located under "clubbox downloads" you'll need a whole other program. to find out more about clubbox go to the korean entertainment forum and find the sticky that is "official clubbox thread". (btw, i'm assuming you know how to download using bittorrent). if you don't know how to download with bittorrent and for more help on subtitles/vobsub, read the FAQ at the top of the page. if you still have problems, post in the support forum. |

Media Player Classic does have a auto subtitle search feature, but I doubt it will find the sub for this drama
Also, the authoer of MPC is the same as "VobSub" (DVobSub, now called VSFilter) so all the subtitle features are included in MPC
However, to draw the subtitles, you'll need to use the VMR7/9 renderer which requier 3D acceleration and slow down big time...so it's still better to stick to VSFilter 2.3x + Overlay mixer_________________

you're right, i didn't realize that MPC had the subtitle feature when i wrote the post, i read it later. i've read many support posts when someone recommended MPC with Vobsub to people, so you'll have to forgive me if i didn't realize that one was included in the other. nevertheless, my advice is still valid for a newbie, who only downloaded MPC after having read that it could "automatically dl the sub files."
