Hotman2 translation available, need someone to make sub file

Hi, I'm new here, so first, I'd like to give a big thank you to all of you who make these dramas available. You are all wonderful people, putting in so much of your time to give enjoyment to others. THANK YOU!

I'd like to contribute too. Hotman2 was broadcast here in Hawaii, and I recorded all the episodes. So I could type in the translations/subtitles as they appeared on TV. I have no experience with the subtitler programs or anything, and I didn't even download Hotman2 (since it was broadcast on TV), so I wouldn't be able to time the subittles to match the avi files.

If someone is willing to do the timing and make the subtitle files, I can supply the translations for Hotman2. Anyone want to take on this project? Send me a PM. Thanks.

Are you using HDTV or high quality tv rips or the DVD version? Because the Hotman2 timed subs I've obtained are for the HQ tv rips(from the looks of it). So I can email it to you to test if it synchs for a few eps first.

tianj, you already have subtitles for Hotman2? but not in english, is that correct?

If that's the case, I guess I could try to learn how to use a subtitle program... but I'll wait a bit and see how amrayu replies.

Wow, thank you for doing this Kanpai. I've really wanted to see "Hotman 2" since I enjoyed its predecessor very much.

Actually, you don't need to learn how to use a subtitle program if you use my timed subs, you just have to play the file with the originial subs, and replace the korean text with english text as you watch the subtitle que on screen if you know what I mean. Here it is, first check if it synchs with the raws in the beginning and the end:

Hi,
I'll try to type the english translations into the tianj's korean sub file, to save amrayu a step.

But I need to download the Hotman2 raw files. I tried to download them, but this series isn't being seeded anymore.

Can someone re-seed Hotman2 again please?

If there is already timed Korean subs, I don`t see any reason for not using them. Soft subs would be great. Many seeders will help too, including me.

Amrayu gave me access to download all the episodes via FTP. I have all the AVI files now so I can check the timing of the subs. Thanks Amrayu, Groink, and tianj!

I started this weekend, and as this is my first time, I have to say... subbing is time-consuming! I hope I get faster with practice.

Thanks for the encouragement. I finished eps 1-6, and just sent them off to amrayu today.
Amrayu's going to QC the subs and make a hard subbed release. Stay tuned!
