Yep, that's probably the case. There's the MPAA which has billions in its legal budget. I don't think Fuji TV, TBS, or MBC have a warchest anywhere near what the MPAA has. However, don't think it won't happen, because there were some celebrated cases a few years back from the Hong Kong TV stations got the FBI to raid several video rental places in the US for copyright violations (they bought one license, and duped 15 to get 15X the revenue). So if an exec from TBS is reading this site right now.... Suprise shhhh........

I don't think so. If someone pays subbers, s/he might force the subbers to work faster or else (as they might think they have the right to do so.) Unless the subbers are doing it for themselves and then they'd share it.

So it's better to donate generously.
