I just saw the first episode but I already like this show.

I like the duo of Odagiri Joe and Asou Kumiko. The other characters in the police station are great as well (Toyohara Kousuke is great again).
Plus the small gags scattered throughout the show.
And finally the premise, of solving cases that are already beyond the statute of limitations, provides a weird sense of closure.

I dunno it sort of reminds me of the Trick series. (But it's not really similar, hmm, not sure how to describe the feeling.)

haha, yeah... This drama is so funny....!!!
but, too bad it's individual cases... not much of a main plot or big story
So, it's not that tempting to catch the next episode...

But will still continue to watch it~! Kumiko is so cute, and Joe is so funny!

Hehe, keep the mini jokes coming.

By the way, do you really sweat a lot when you eat hotfood? Or add "yes" after you lie? Personally, I don't think I sweat (at least noticeably to me) or add "yes." Yes.

But you are right, it seems that there is no overarching theme or plot to the show. Unless it's the marriage certificate that Mikaduki swiped. Tongue

Anyway looking forward to Ogawa Tamaki. Yes.

Laugh

We now have a translator and encoder on board for hardsubs of Jikou Keisatsu. So, we need a QC and typesetter(they prefer the typesetter to know Japanese, but its ok if not since we want to start this project now). So, if you have QC or typesetting experience, please PM me ASAP since the translator have started. Also, if you know encoding, and would like to guide/teach our new encoder, please PM me as well, Thanks,

Oh cool, good luck guys!

I can't commit to any kind of long term project, but if it's a question here or there, I am more than willing to help.

Do you know how to QC or encode? No one else has replied to me yet.

I've watched two episodes of this show. And, I like it. You have the odd balls, the straight shooters, the usual suspects and the most adorable and goofy Kiriyama. Big Smile

QC? Quality checker? And what is that person supposed to do? I thought it would be of more importance to find a timer first. Is it you who is going to time it?

Hi Patxi! When did you come here? Smile
tianj doesn't need a timer b/c she can get the timed soft sub scripts in Korean. So it becomes more of a "fill in the blank" game. I think quality checkers go through and look over general things like overall timing (b/c sometimes the timings still need to be tweaked), the positioning anf subs, breaks in lines, final spelling and grammar checks, etc... Basically making sure the package is the final product you want to be released...

Hi, mizune! Well, I joined last september, but I've been stalking for almost two years, I think. The thing is that I'm not very active because there are a lot of spoilers in the threads and I do my best to not find any (that is: I rarely read them). I came here first time when my teacher asked me if I could manage to get Sekai wo chuushin de ai wo sakebu for her (homesickness, I told her) and since then, I turned into one addict as well, hehehehe.

Well I just saw episode 6. And I did enjoy the episode, but I'm not sure if it took the right turn. I guess I just have to wait until episode 7.
