BTW, Smiling pasta is X1000000 better then full house, I cant seem to be able to finish full house, its way too boring.. Smiling pasta is like more for teenagers because its way more lively and fun!!!! I totally reccomend it!

Smiling Pasta was a waste of my time...I admit though, there were some very good moments and butterflies in the air...but c'mon, there were so many scenarios that could never happen and any logical person can get out of it. They acted like the media was king in this drama and could make the law. There were many moments where I wanted to kill somebody watching this drama because of all the rediculous things that could never ever happen....meteor garden 2 all over again.

Well, I can't say that this drama is a complete waste of time, the soundtrack was somewhat good...Xiao Wu Gui is a very catchy song.

I just finished watching the last episode. The series is very cute. Wub

This was the first Taiwanese drama I have ever seen. I will definitely look for more in the future.

Hi everyone,

I'm replying to this because I keep reading that Smiling Pasta is the Taiwan version of the Korean Full House. Honestly other some similarity, I don't think it's the same at all. Don't get me wrong. I love both...but it's just so weird how many people find that one drama is another version of another drama when there's really nothing similar but the most basic idea. No idea is actually original. A commoner and super big movie star in love is a common idea. From that one idea people expand into different storyline. But every storyline is original unless it's an almost exact remake. For example. Return of the Condor Heroes...there's MANY version but the STORYLINE is the same. I call that a version. Smiling Pasta and Full House have only the basic common idea. 1) Commoner and Superstar, 2) love triangles but which story DOESN'T?

Anyway, I enjoyed both drama very much, but to say one is a version of the other is kinda weird. Cuz to me they're too different to be the same story. I love them both. both have +ve and -Ve aspects.

Example:

I find that Full House is so typical KDrama. Good and fun at the beginning then went down hill cuz of all the crying then up and sweet at the end. Like I said don't get me wrong, I love this drama. Seen it many times...

but not as much as I've seem Smiling Pasta. I don't know, this drama is so LIGHT and refreshing. So Fun to watch from beginning to end. Keep the smile on your face and a warm feeling in our heart throughout. So what if they want to fit everything into it. So what if some ideas are too illogical sometimes...it's a maple live series--isn't that what tv shows are about? We watch it to get away from the logical world. To experience something we have never, would never, in our wildest dream get to experience. .. it's beautiful because it allows us to dream and hope for the impossible. Sometimes it's not the accomplishment that satisfy us. But the CHASING and journey it take us on and the experiences that makes life sweet Smile

This is what this drama is about. So what if the hugging scene need improving. I think the ONLY thing wrong with it is the hugging scene, doesn't seem natural...other than that I actually like this better than Full House.

Full house, the actor and actress are beautiful, the storyline is good other than the fact that I don't understand how her friend could sale her house...but it doesn't matter. Also, I guess I'm just not a great fan of Kdrama...because every drama is always about the unimaginable rich, arrogant people and commoner, the guy is a sweetheart under the disguise of a jerk and the girl is so sweet and helpless to the point that you wonder if she's stupid. I mean she can be sweet and navies but give her some other characteristic (that's where SP win over FH. I hope some people would agree with me that not all Korean women are weak and helplessly needy. But that's what it always comes across as in the dramas. They ALWAYS need rescuing. And ALWAYS prefer the jerk over the better guy. They basically put up with abuse. I know love is blind but...come on.).

The crying....and the sad ending...Stairway to Heaven...cough...SORRY if I offend anyone...I'm NOT trying to be. It just so annoy ...never mind. All I'm saying is that. Let's enjoy a story for what it is and stop comparing.
