This is an obstacle course TV competition show that airs twice a year. My wife has been wanting me to find this for her for some time and only recently did I find the American name for it. Anyhow I would appreciate any help in tracking down episodes or the posting of torrents for this. Evidently it was shown on G4 with subtitles.
Thanks

| In Japan SASUKE is shown as a three hour special, not broken up into episodes like on G4. As far as I can tell, none of the past competitions have been either re-aired or released on video or DVD in Japan. People may have tapes/dvds but they'd probably be rare too.

it's been a while since this one was revived. i've been watching this on G4 every so often. quite interesting.
the last one i watched was the 20th annual one, and some 20yr old dude from michigan won. i was really rooting for the home team, but i felt a few of them were too overconfident._________________ Use THUMBS UP/DOWN buttons to KEEP or DELETE posts.

| Best show ever! I know like 50-100 people that watch it in L.A. alone... they need an american version. It's way funnier and harder than American Gladiator.

The subbing/dubbing reminds me of Iron Chef and if you understand Japanese you can tell they're leaving stuff out of the subbing but sadly that seems to be the case with 'professional subtitling'.
Wasn't ABC trying to jump on this bandwagon? I saw some commercials for a show called Wipeout that looked like an obstacle course show along with some other show called 'I Survived a Japanese Game Show' An American version would be interesting but I have little hope they could pull it off. Look how badly they messed up Iron Chef (and all the other remakes of Asian shows/films).
Raw episodes of Sasuke and Kunoichi (and Takeshi's Castle) would be awesome!

ok, so now i'm starting to get pretty addicted to this thing.
g4 is now showing KUNOICHI - ninja warriors for women (lady ninjas). i watched several eps and already developed a few favorites:
rie komiya - man, she's cute AND athletic. what can you say?
ayako miyake - what a trooper! she's just amazing; passing some obstacles with almost no effort.
yuko mizuno - she's pretty cute too, but i felt sick when she missed the button on the last one by less than a second.
anyone else watching this?_________________ Use THUMBS UP/DOWN buttons to KEEP or DELETE posts.
