The first JTV fansub project that I ever saw was Long Vacation. I saw the drama on TV about 10 years ago and I wanted to see it again. Ever since JTV and having a link to D-Addicts posted on their site, I've been exposed to more varieties of Japanese dramas.

Thanks JTV for picking really good show to fansub thumright

Pride. And now and forever more Kimutaku is known as Hockey Boy in my house. And when the winter olympics were on, whenever the ice hockey came on, we stood and made the gesture with fist to shoulder/heart and said "purido".
Yes, we are strange, but it made us laugh. Having seen so many series with Kimura Takuya, playing roles usually found in Village People videos (racing car driver, hair dresser, airline pilot, architect, concert pianist, chef, lighting expert, oh man, the list is endless, he's even played a salaryman, that must have been a nice change...) we STILL refer to him always as Hockey Boy.

It might have been Pride, which I've only seen up to ep 4, but I can't remember. This is really a looong time in the past.
I got GTO through a snail mail trade so I'm not sure where that one origins either, but it's a great possibility it's from JTV (have to rewatch it some other day Roll Eyes ).
So the first that was consciously downloaded from JTV by me was Kimi wa petto, when feedmeister did a VSS on that one. And I've enjoyed JTVs doramas ever since. Wub

@Gozen: Laugh nice story
