There's wasn't a thread yet for Dandy Daddy... sooo the first episode aired about a week ago. The synopsis (from dramawiki/tokyograph) is "Izaki Ryunosuke is a widower and popular romance novelist whose books are always bestsellers. Despite that, he is overprotective of his daughter Akari in matters of love, constantly monitoring her activities"
Impressions of the first episode: Tachi Hiroshi is awesome, but this story reminds me a lot of him in Papa to Musume no Nanokakan, but I don't like the daughter as much as Aragaki Yui. The story seems cute and a bit cheesy, but fun.
Anyone else see the first ep?

| I like the cast, and they were all very good. It was funny at times, but I can't help but feel that it was trying too hard at times to emphasize the over-protectiveness. Tachi Hiroshi is great, and I like Minamisawa Nao too, the look on her face while watching her Dad on tv really fitted that scene.
