[CDrama] Prince of Tennis (CCTV, 2008)

I read on an LJ community about a drama based on Prince of Tennis, in Mainland China...here

It seems to have been confirmed for June 2008. A really long time from now.

Thoughts?

I worry, that if its a drama from Mainland China, it'd be harder to get overseas...

hmm.. so can i assume that the cast would be chinese actors too? chinese as in not taiwanese or hong kong citizens. and i was wondering why they wanted to adapt the POT. Laugh

aiya! noooooo. i didn't like the japanese movie much.. and now another. =S i think Prince of Tennis is something that should stay in anime/manga. some of the stuff is just too cheesy when made live action. well, i'll still see this even if i'm scared it might be just as weird. i hope it won't be too bad (god please!)

The male cast are all contestants of a Chinese TV show (My Hero).
Mostly last years contestants, but some are from this years show.

A drama of Prince of Tennis? It sounds okay. But I'm not sure if that will make a good drama. I think the jmovie of PoT was good. Can't wait to watch this. Big Smile

I remember I almost fainted when I saw the news release and photos in august when the news came out...

Although I'm seriously not a fan of the once contestants on that show~~~Prince of Tennis is my favorite~~~not trying to be difficult here but don't see this going big with those guys
