Welcome to September's Chinese Series of the Month (CSoTM) Poll.

Voting starts now and ends on Friday, August 31st. Seeders, please start seeding the CSoTM on Saturday, September 1st. If for any reason you cannot do so, please PM me. Thanks. Beating heart

As the name implies, the CSoTM is dedicated to seeding completed Chinese drama series—be they from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, or Taiwan—with ENGLISH subs. We've only got so many qualifying series at the moment, so there're going to be repeats. The CSOTM will be monthly for short series with an extension for longer series.

Not so many people are interested in this month's candidates. Wonder if somebody could add something new, non-ancient Chinese stuff.... That would be greatly appreciated.

I prefer wuxia / ancient dramas. However, apparently popular wuxia dramas almost never become candidates. Only non-popular ones do recently. If popular wuxia dramas like LOCH2006 or ROCH2003 were candidates, I'm sure the situation would've been much different.

To admin: I think SotM rules do not explicitly require that the candidates must be unseeded. So, I hope you drop that artificial rule. Rather than having repeats, I exhort the admins to relist possible candidates from the CSotM thread. I think there are ample qualified dramas.

I think part of SotM goals is to "recircularize older torrents back into view". I believe it's a valid reason to bring up older completed (and qualified) dramas though it's still seeded. I'm sure they would be not well seeded.

In addition, what "well-seeded" means? Is 1:10 seeder-to-leecher ratio qualifies as "well-seeded"? Or well-seeded simply means "seed existence"? Older dramas tend to have 1:10 (or worse) seeder-to-leecher ratio or worse. I think it should qualify as "not well-seeded".

Edited: I meant I can't seed this series because I don't have it. I'm wondering if any other members still have this series and would like to seed it. Thanks.

Young Justice Bao II has catched my eye but, it is the second part of a series. What about the first one? Does it have sense to offer that one without having previously offered the first one? Or is it that the search engine doesn't work well? I cannot find the other one.

The first part of Young Justice Bao does not have anything to do with the second part (if I remember it correctly). You can watch the second part separately.

abcd99: you bring up some good points in your previous post. i think the crux of it is that each person has their own thoughts about what a CSoTM series should be. as stated in Kai Lien's post in the CSoTM thread, it says "older, unseeded drama". to me, older means one that isn't recently completed. by recently completed, this doesn't necessarily mean it just finished airing, it could also be a recent torrent. the exceptions would be those series that were previously torrents but for some reason got removed, and so are now re-uploaded. or those that were uploaded a while ago, but then just recently made into a batch upload. as for the "unseeded" part, obviously that doesn't mean that it has to have no seeds at all. however, it makes more sense to help with series that have fewer seeds. i don't have any hard and fast rule about what qualifies as "well-seeded", so it's really a judgement call there.

as for the series you mentioned, you'll have to help me out since i don't know them that well. is the LOCH you mentioned the same as "Legend of Arching Hero" from jem? if so, that looks like it could be a good candidate for next month. as for ROCH 2006, that would proably be a good one too if it had at least one more seed.
