Ken Zhu in the Philippines to shoot an Indie Film

Ken Zhu arrived in the Philippines last October 18, 2007 to shoot an indie film entitled, "Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan." Personally, Ken has always been one of my fave F4 members because he seems to be a nice guy, not to mention his good looks Wub

According to him, in an interview with GMA7, he enjoyed shooting the film because all the crew were very hospitable and treated him like a family Big Smile

He felt comfortable with everyone especially his leading lady, a Filipina actress, Iza Calzado, whom he felt was a close friend after talking to her briefly. He was so amazed with the paradise beauty of Batanes and the genuine hospitability of the people, who didn't bother them while shooting pinch

He divulged how he always hear nice things about the place, but didn't expect it to be like a paradise on earth pinch

IUntil when will he be staying here? Iza Calzado so pretty.They'd look good together on the screen.
Why Ken, though? Does he have to speak Chinese or something, or will he be speaking in English? LOL. I wanna see him in personal. pinch

i think ken zhu is very fluent in english.. I have watched their (together with F4) CNN Asia interview and he's really good in english Smile

ken Zhu already left Phils. He was here on October 18 and stayed several days for the shooting.
Yes, Ken speaks good English, but I think in the movie, he barely talks because he plays a stranded fisherman in an island who don't speak the locals' dialect pinch

He meets Iza here, who's a city girl but decided to retire in this province. Although, Iza is fluent in English, she won't be using it in her role. According to Ken, this is by far his most difficult role to date because he'll be using more of his eye expressions to convey feelings. I just saw an interview with ken and iza, separately. It's true that both are very comfy with each other, they goofed around on the set, ken holding her hands while laughingly dancing and enjoying himself with his newfound friend Iza. He's grateful that everyone treated him like a family...and he has an easy going connection with her.

I can't wait for the movie to release either, haven't seen Ken in action for a while now. I also heard that he's in a historical drama and in the new taiwanese drama promoting TW tourism Big Smile

im a big fan of MG and F4,,although i was estatic that he made a film here in Philippines,i havent seen it. But i heard a lot of comments from people that its a good film..and i promise to see this,,lol.
