While I normally like...or should I say admire girls with long hair too, but it really depends on the person. It's normally harder to look that good with short hair than with long though. So for Juri-chan, it really does look awesome on her. I think she's one of few who can rock any style she wants while bring out the different characteristics of the roles at the same time. 
Some more news from 2ch, Juri was spotted at Okinawa recently. A fan manage to get her autograph. She said she was there to do some diving. Ah~ Sugoi na~ A little time off after Last Friends perhaps? Hope she's having fun since Okinawa weather seems to be sunny. ^^

Ahaha, I'll volunteer to be her 'tour guide' too if she comes here. =3
Anyway, here's another interesting news.(Yeah, I have no other life than stalking Juri these days...). From the blog of another close friend, Sakurai Ami: http://kyanosblue.blog45.fc2.com/
She acted in Rainbow Song with Juri I believe. So she's currently filming a movie called Planetarium(in which she acts a pretty boyish character as well, umm, from the screen shot, probably a lesbian character). Anyway, for the final scene, seems like they had a special 'guest director'. She didn't actually put Juri's name there. But it was pretty obvious from the hints given~ (Juri also did say before that she wanted to do some behind the scenes production work other than just acting). So wow, way to go Juri-chan~ 
This Sakurai Ami also posted something about Juri a couple of post back. Something about Last Friends and Juri being an awesome cook when they had a get together during their Rainbow Song days.

^Yuuki: Nice scans! Juri made the cover of An-An, kakoii neh...How about translating the whole feature on her? 
Okinawa is a lovely place to hang out, for the sporty types....sandy beaches, clear waters, blue sky. Is Juri a seasoned diver? That's a really enjoyable pastime.....to explore the beauty and mysteries of the deep ocean. As my friend tells me (she's an avid diver), once you get into diving, you keep going back...the pull is that strong.

Hmm. That's a pretty cool cast and crew you've compiled there. But with Asano Tadanobu starring, will it be a slasher flick? lol. Juri the Assasin faces Ichi the Killer. And if I may add Yosuke Kubozuka, Joe Odagiri and Christopher Doyle as cinematographer...then we're all set for a romance+fantasy+thriller movie.
Actually, I love Juri's short hair now. She's just adorable in it.  It makes me think of Faye Wong in her pixie hair-cut in Chungking Express (one of my top 10 fave movies of all time). With Juri's big expressive eyes, pouty lips and whimsical aura, I can certainly visualize her in Faye's eccentric playful role, and maybe Tsumabuki Satoshi in Tony Leung's sexy brooding policeman role.

You go stalk Juri some more, cos we all need our Juri fix! LOL
And Juri guest directing? That's fabulous. She's really interested in film-making eh? I can see her branching out into directing too, with her perfectionist streak.
Juri can cook well? I thought she only knew how to make Natto.

Yeah they don't look really look alike, and don't really act alike but I guess they both have that something more in them. Sure hope Juri-chan continues to work with more interesting directors and writers, like Iwai, Yukisada, Yamada, maybe even Kitano.
