Thanks for that information. I think it had to do with me accidentally not having the subs sorted by time (happened when I added sub lines). I uploaded new version which I hope work.

If you want, I can finish Hachi One since we're doing the hard sub translations... Smile

They just won't be as fast since we'll be working on Yasuko to Kenji around the time the final Hachi One eps will air.

.. and its the least I can do after you helped us get caught up by using your translations for eps 3 and 4.

Tianj still hasn't sent me the timings (I guess he's busy Unsure

) So give me two days after he sends them.

Update: He hasn't been able to get the timings yet. I guess the normally lightning fast Korean translators are a little slow this week.

So I am really busy and I won't be able to translate episode 9 meaning that I hope the last three episodes will be translated by someone. I will include a small guide on how to subtitle.

How to sub Hachi-One Diver (and every other drama)
1. Private Message tianj for timings (I have attached episode 9)
2. Download Aegisub (search Google) and open up the timing file with this program
3. You will see a bunch of korean (assuming you chose the suggested encoding) and timings
4. Click on the tab "Video->Open Video" and select the video and then "Audio->Open Audio"
5. Open up Jdrama.cc in your browser which has the whole Japanese script for the episode. If you are like me and need to look up a word every once in a while or research a Shogi term translation, your friend is the Firefox add-on Rikai-chan and Google.
4. Back in Aegisub, click on the tab "Subtitles>Translation Assistant" and start translating. You listen to the line by pressing End and Enter to go to the next. (More Keys are listed)
5. After you are done, save the file and upload it back to D-Addicts. Actually, reply to this thread and attach the file. I will link it from the front page when I have a chance to use a computer.
6. You're done!

If no one steps up SBK (http://fansubs.shibukai.net/) is hard subbing this drama but I would love to see someone step up. You don't need to PM me or get any permission from me, just do it.
