Hey,

I've read that using the Media player classic will allow me to watch dual audio videos with just one audio by going to Player>Audio>Options>Enable custom channel mapping. I'm trying to watch Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre 2003 in Cantonese. I put the speaker configuration to 2 and clicked on #2 for both "front left" and "front right". Unfortunately this didn't work. Can anybody please help me? I've spent a long time downloading this series and I'd love to watch it in Cantanose only. Thanks in advance.

If you have the little speaker icon in your task bar (somewhere near the clock), then double click it and a Volume Control panel should open. Just adjust the Balance slider to the left or right until you hear the audio you want. Many times dual audio video has one language like Mandarin on the right side and Cantonese on the left for example. You will only hear the audio from one speaker, but this is the easiest way.

If you don't have the little speaker icon, then you might have to open Start>Settings>Control Panel>Sound and Audio.... The Sound and Audio control panel for your computer depends on what sound card or integrated audio you have in your computer. In any case, look for something for sound playback volume and / or balance and adjust the balance left or right as needed.

Thanks for the reply MT877. I've tried your method as well and it didn't fix the problem. Is there a video player that I can use to play RMVB files besides Media Classic Player that might help? Or maybe I'm doing it wrong with Media Classic Player?

If you downloaded Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre 2003 from D-A, then you have dual audio ogm file, not rmvb. Anyway, when you have the file playing in MPC, then you right click on the playing video screen, a menu appears, select Audio, you will see Options..., Mandarin and Cantonese, choose Cantonese. You can also do this from the Play drop menu.

If this does not work, then use VLC player. You can select which audio track to use.
