I'll be watching the raws. I don't know how much I'll understand from them, but I'll be watching them. ;)

We just finished watching episode 1, and the family found it really funny. I nearly choked on my dinner at one scene that took me by surprise. (Hadn't realized how bawdy some of this comedy would be, which is fine since I don't mind bawdy comedy. )
Kyoko Fukada was adorable, the kids were funny, and for some reason I always get a kick out of hearing Tanihara Shosuke speak English--thick accent, but still very intelligible. I find it cute; kinda reminds me of how he'd suddenly be speaking all the different languages to hit on foreign women in Mop Girl. lol
The previews for episode 2 looked really hilarious.

Well I watched the first episode, I am really surprised, I was not expecting this.... This is better than what I was expecting. Okay first off kyoko was so great in this part. She is so awesome. But her character is like an anime character or something. It made her like an anime character because everyone else is so normal. I am surprised how cheerful she is. The point, the anime point she did it, lol it was so funny! I think that kyoko is really an idol, she was so attractive. I can not believe how cute she was... I am going to become a senseless kyoko fanboy after this one... I know it. And The dress, the way the boys dress, its so interesting to me, I did not know japanese boys sag in their school outfits... with their ties half done.
Well the story... I did not understand that much, but what I did was funny.

But it seems that kyoko's parents were dancers (argintine tango from the looks of it, but I can not be sure, I did not see that much). Uhm the boys are a lot closer than I thought they would be. They are helping each other out. Its really nostalgic. I remember being in some of the same situations. Well I feel that the story is quite fantasy. Its aiming to be fantasy rather than trying to seem realistic. The pairing of the kids was soooo great in my opinon. I think that couple 1 is my favorite couple. I like both the boy and the girl (I remember her name is hitomi, she is my favorite without a doubt!). Its a shame young girls don't understand a man's perversion... But the *cough cough* bedroom scene was so funny, kyoshi's mom walked in too, lolololololololol so funny.
Well I need to wait for subs to fully geek over this series. But this is a good one.
This is what I mean by the anime point, I added the finger swirl, but I don't know what this point is called, but its funny to me

That was one of my favorite parts of mop girl!! His english was really good, I wish kyoko would of spoken more english... But He is half the reason I wanted to watch this show, I hope he gets more time and maybe...

Well after watching it with subs, the show gets like 15 points extra credit. Oh my god this series will be epic. Its so funny and interesting.

So wait a sec, kazuki is gay???? WTF!? Didn't see that one coming, but it explains so much.... He was so vague.... And after fully understanding what mai-chan is saying, she is even more of an anime/fantasy character in this real setting. She is so shinobi mode on everyone.... Plus she is just so damn chipper. After watching the episode a second time, I really am liking kana, I was watching her face, she really is cute!
But I wonder how the 5 girls will be now that they have cemented their outkast-ness by being in the club with the boys? Oh yea eiri had polyrhythm by perfume as her ringtone, that is beyond awesome for me....
I still haven't heard mai-chan speak enough english. But the "love...love" (after the principal corrected her english), man she looked soooo cute! She is so funny and her character is a mystery. I am really looking forward to this one... This show is shaping up to be one of my all time favorites and its just the first episode...
My fanboy gushing knows no bounds.......

Sooo funny! Kyoko is adorable, even moreso than she was in Mirai Koshi Meguru. The entire time I kept expecitng her to start eating so that she could see the kids' futures. lol!
The masturbating thing was a bit much though... And the thong shopping. Ick!

So is Kazu gay or was that just the girl's speculation? Because if he is gay and in love with his friend, wouldn't that offset the pairings/balance of the girls and boys in the show because from the way the opening looks it seems like the boys each end up with their partnered girl... Hmm... But after all Girl #5 has her boyfriend Ma-chan or whatever his name was so perhaps it will balance out?
