Do you have the video file??
.srt and .ass are subtitles only. Without the video. To play them you need the video (avi or whatever format it has)... it has to be in the same folder and the two files have to have the same name:
Code Blue.avi
Code Blue.srt
If it's still not playing you need to install a codec or another video player program to watch it. Go here for more info on how to play the files (you have to scroll down a lottle bit to find the subtitle section): http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15864
