[Req] [Ikemen Subbing] staff for Rocket Boys and Holyland

A new fansub group just recently formed and still in need of staff members. We hope to sub PureBOYS/D-Boys/just-some-pretty-guys dramas in HQ (subtitles + file quality). Feel free to PM us for more info.

Currently we are in need of translators:
- Japanese to English (talk)
- Chinese to English (subtitles)
- Korean to English (subtitles)

Japanese needs to be translated from talking, but Chinese and Korean for existing subtitles. Lyrics translators (Jap to Eng) are welcome too.

We currently have no need for editors or encoders/hardsubbers.

ive learned how to time - so ill time if you want - my japanese is quite good - 2 years experiance - but i cant translate evrything.

just to note - i like timing, without the translations first.

dont know if that helps or not but its far easier for me to set timings before adding the translations.

My vocab is alright but my grammar is terrible xD I can understand basics though
I can do light translations but I didn't want to do the TL because I'm currently doing other translation work aswell.

plus you havent got to be perfect with grammer - you just need to understand what being said then write it down and someone else will make sense of it and make it understandable for subs. Smile

Meh, I've always strayed away from translating spoken text because I find it difficult and I've only ever done things like manga and magazine articles.

Head Translator does sound nice though >____>;;

Can I lurk abit as a proofer and see if any translators come along?

you can do whatever you want..

i can translate all short sentences, some meduim, and very few long.

if i put in very rough translations, i be you could easily correct them all.

i doubt a really good (fluent) translator will come along
