Just finished watching it, man, I totally didn't expect that! I sighed in relief when the verdict was announced. And then that happened, unbelievable! But they kept saying that Kyoko is covering for someone else. If she's proven innocent, won't the police try to investigate to find the real culprit anyway? So it's a lose-lose situation even if she did win. scratch I would've liked to see an aftermath of Izumi. I feel sorry for her, she's the most timid one and for her to get such a bad ending after gathering her courage. For her as well, lose-lose situation.

I'm just surprised they totally left out the threatening/back story for Blue. Did I miss an episode or something?

Great, no more Majo Saiban. Crying

I agree when it comes to Izumi.

Hidden:

She started out as such a timid housewife, who really didn't want to upset anyone. And thanks to her friendship with Toru, she found something in herself that she didn't know was there. It's sad that she had to learn that her husband was actually the one threatening her and their daughter. But, I think it ended well, because this show was not about happy endings - it was more about the truth of human nature and the fact that nothing is ever black and white. Plus, the fact that maybe you really can't trust what's put in front of you - you always have to question.

Sure, I'd love to know somethings:
Hidden:

What did Izumi do about her husband? What did Toru do afterward? The case is deemed closed, so he cannot change anything. And did Kaori get better? Because honestly, she always seemed a little off after the whole Izumi and Toru thing. I fear for him if he ever dumps Kaori. But, I think it's good the way it ended. It was about the trail, not the aftermath.

Now, for the guy that was going to be a lawyer - Blue, was that his name? I think they never
Hidden:

went after him, because they didn't need to. It seemed like they went after the easier ones first, and than Kurokawa sort of became obsessed with getting Toru to vote the way he wanted him to. And he was also maybe jealous and obsessed when it came to Izumi and her friendship with Toru, as well as her showing a backbone and a strong will. Plus, maybe Blue was just boring and average? Maybe he was middle class with excellent grades and a normal life? Can't really blackmail/bribe with that. Also, it may have been hard to bribe/blackmail a law student, as they are often very committed to upholding the law and looking at things clearly and fairly.

Although I don't think that it's possible but let's hope for an SP ... hmmm lots of things should be cleared really... I'm also curious about the judge (who's been bribed) plus of course the relationship between Izumi + Kurokawa ( waaa so curious about them)
also the victim's brother, if he's going to stay silent or not

Overall, a GREAT drama... really never felt that it's boring/meaningless even for a minute .. every event was perfectly established.. the pictures-effects and the OST were outstanding.. Toma did what his role needs, so I believe many other actors could do the same job too but I'm glad that he's been chosen^^ but when it comes to (Kato Ai ) Izumi & (Suzuki Ryohei) Kurokawa.. i think they can't be replaced easily ...

Izumi is probably going to have a strong reaction, because the reason of her fear does not exist anymore (before it was her daughter), it's now all about her 'husband's job in Dubai' pinch

Kaori will probably get better, because she even called him from the hospital when she was sitting on her laptop ^^
Toru has allready forgave her because he really loves her after all
