AOI Tokugawa eps1-10

The colorful tale of three generations of the Tokugawa dynasty--
from its founder Ieyasu to Iemitsu, the third Shogun who solidified
the Tokugawa power base

This was shown from Jan - Dec 2000

There are 49 episodes and I will batch seed 10 episodes at a time till finished.

I have received many emails requesting that this be reseeded and I can only do
it by creating a new torrent because I re-ripped the eps to a different file size.

Enjoy and have fun, any problems let me know.

]F you are presently downloading the episodes using an old torrent, cancel out and get the new torrent file.

As I told the people who are downloading Kozure Okami, I will be going on
vacation shortly, so I will get as much done as I possibily can before we leave.

nng

Thank you! While Kozure is somewhat interesting, the historical value of the Taiga dramas really make them an educational treat. It just so happens that I am in the middle of watching Aoi Tokugawa, but was missing quite a few episodes that never completely downloaded. It would be wonderful if it were possible to also post Hideyoshi from 1996 and Mori Motonari from 1997, two of the other very influential leaders from 16th century Japan (of course others include Takeda Shingen and Oda Nobunaga). Fuurn Kazan provides a nice look at Takeda Shingen, but I suspect the 1988 Taiga is not available (and probably the 1983 Tokugawa Ieyasu is also not available).

Anyway, I really appreciate whatever I can view -- each year I go to Japan and visit places featured in the Taiga Dramas and every year my experience gets better and better.

Stay well

Cool, I don't know this one but have been introduced to Taiga through Atsu Hime which I'm really enjoying.

Thanks,

Rashomon, yeah, I also wish to visit some of the places highlighted. I also go each year, the past 4 or 5 and knowing more and more history adds value to places you visit I believe. Nice to visit, but also great to know some history before even getting there.

Thanks so much for doing this. The way they've chosen to tell this story, while being as faithful as they can to history, they also make it more fun to watch than a box of puppies with the subtle comic relief. I'm having a great time watching it. When Hidetada says to his younger brothers; "How do you meet girls?", I nearly came unglued.

A Chinese group over at verycd.com is actually doing DVD rips of Taiheiki and Takeda Shingen. Pretty impressive stuff considering the size (rmvb can do wonders). Of course only Chinese subs.

Here's Takeda http://verycd.com/topics/107756/
