phantom seeds

Hi, sorry if this is an obvious question but I just can't figure out how this might be happening.

I've downloaded the first few episodes if the Taiga drama Yoshitsune with English subs, the whole series is listed on this site as having at least one seed for each episode but when I open some of the torrents the seeds are there for a second or so then disappear.

Should I just leave the torrent open for a while? I've waited a couple of days for a few of them but nothing has happened. I don't want to popst a seed request unnecessarily .

Can someone please explain why some torrents are listed as seeded but turn out not to be?

I'm really hooked on Yoshitsune now so hope there is a solution.

I know, I can watch everything at d-addicts online at streaming sites but that's not what I want to do.

I download these to watch later with my wife, who is Japanese, and our kids who we are bringing up bi-lingual.Gathering around a computer monitor to watch this stuff isn't something we really feel like doing.
