Every time I click 'Download,' my downloading window pops up (I have Firefox), and it doesn't go straight to my BitTorrent:

Then, I click 'Open,' and it wants me to download BitTorrent again:

How do I fix this?

I know this is a silly question but are you sure you have bittorent installed? Have you tried installing it again and it still asks you to install it again?

Yes, I have it installed. When I do press install again, a second desktop icon pops up, and then I have two.

Instead of using BitTorrent , try downloading a different torrent user such as uTorrent, only if you want to. Smile

It seems like your file goes straight to a different program. Have you right clicked the file and tell it to open with BitTorrent before?

My regular torrent is fine, and it worked before, so I'd rather stay with BitTorrent. And yes, I have.

it sounds like your .torrent files are associated with the Bittorrent installer, not the actual Bittorrent program/software

go to Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types and manually change it there

If you mean Internet Explorer, it doesn't work well on my computer, so I work with Firefox.

most of the time, windows explorer is located in your START .... ACCESSORIES folder.

or you can just double-click 'my computer'
