Hi, guys. Me again. I was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to watch the full series (TV raws available from this site) with my subs yet. If so, can you tell me if all the TV version episodes are in sync? I downloaded episodes 1 thru 5 here, and downloaded episodes 6 thru 11 from a Megaupload site. It just occurred to me that episodes 6+ might be different. Thanks.

I haven't got around to watching them yet, but doing a quick check they all seemed ok, except EP.7 which by the end the subs were about 20 seconds early, and EP. 10 which were 15 seconds fast also.It seems that Ep. 10 went off time at the commercial beak at 16:50, and 7 the same at 7:55.
This was with the raw videos that I downloaded from here back in 2005.

Ah, I see! So there were a few differences. Thanks for the info, guys! Okay, I'll need to d/l the raw episodes 6 - 11from D-Addicts, then I'll go through them and fix the subtitles. (Any seeders out there who could join in would be greatly appreciated! Just d/ling the files can take DAYS w/o a lot of helpful seeders, but I really hate having a "half-assed" product out there.)

Also, I've made a several minor edits to all the episodes, and one pretty significant edit to episode 8. In episode 8, I changed Mahiru's desired career to "firefighter." It just makes more sense than "pump operator." So, I'll upload the final versions when I upload the resynced 6-11 episodes.

So, again, anyone who can seed, please do. The faster I can d/l the files, the faster I can get the edits to you.

Tahoma, thanks for completing this. when you are done and finalized, can you pm me, so i can remove the 'may need editing' from the title?

OR, if you want, i can make you the owner of this thread, so you can do your own editing.

All done! I have successfully resynced ALL of my TVversion subs to accurately match ALL of the Fire Boys raw files available here on D-Addicts. (A few other minor edits were performed, too, so if you haven't already hard-subbed them, you might want to d/l them all.) (You'll find the updated subs in my original post on Page 16.)

Sorry for the initial screw up. It is a great series, though. Well worth the effort it took. thumleft

Sorry I was never able to finish this you guys.... it was hard to do just by myself afterall...but I do wish that Tahoma24 would've contacted me and let me know you were gonna post the subs yourself so I didn't have to worry about it.... I only had up to ep8 and half of 9 done anyway, but thanks for finishing it off for me....
