I'm not too sure, but saving is very easy. Ctrl-S. It's become an annoying habit for me.

| You can set an option in sabbu, so that it auto saves for you every so often.

sabbu autosaves, but you can still lose a lot of work...^_^;;;
plus it's just annoying having to restart the program and reload all the files each time. As for putting in junk characters, that's what i was doing before, but it's actually pretty time consuming to type a letter or two into each line (so far, it looks to be a little more than 500 lines per episode)...
i'm guessing it's probably an idiosyncrasy of subtitle workshop... ah, well...
just thought somebody else might have had something similar before but no biggie, i can adapt...

Maybe he/she is using it because the want to? Isn't that good enough of a reason, you don't actually expect everyone to use the same program, do you?
