Hi all,
I've read through the previous posts and currently have Media Classic and vsob installed at the moment as per suggestions. But I STILL I keep getting the chinese subtitles. I do not have a .srt file but the .smi file. Do I have to convert that to .srt and if so, how?
Thanks for any and all help.

| Chinese subtitles? Chinese dramas always seem to have subtitles. I'm not sure how to remove them. I suppose you could crop it. Or remove them frame by frame on photoshop or paint shop pro.

Actually the show I have is 'Fireboys' and it's in Japanese but with Chinese subtitiles. It's in the rmvb format and comes with a .smi file too. But although I've downloaded all the suggested programs to help me get the English subtitles, it still doesn't seem to work.
