ehhh...it was ok, I've never seen a story with so many situations that could never ever...ever happen, the kind that make you pissed off and go get something to eat. But there were many great moments too...I think the writers got too creative, both with the irritating situations and the happy ones. Overall, its ok to see if you got nothing else to do, because the special moments were kind of sweet.

lol You do realize the unbelievable and ridiculousness story coated in sugary cotton candy moments was the whole point of the show, right? Let's not forget this was a summer drama. This means it's cliched, romantic fluff that has no real soul or logic to it. We all know it's pure crap but we still can't stop watching because it makes us giggle while we vomit.

yea, I get your point puppet, but everytime those scenes pop up, I keep getting the feeling of meteor garden 2 all over again, although smiling pasta did have many sweet scenes also. Hey...I still rock Xiao Wu Gui in my car

I've downloaded enough that I was able to preview about a minute of one of the episodes (13) and it appears to have only the Chinese subtitles. Aren't there supposed to be English as well like last month's show?

I totally love this drama. The firt time I watched it I didn't really understand the first episode. I thougth He Qui looked weird. And then I saw him smile Wub His thousand watt smile had me hooked from then on and now whenever i'm feeling down I watch Smiling Pasta and by the end I don't remember why I was feeling blue.

Just smile and there's nothing you can't overcome.

I watched only the first episode and the last episode. It was unbearably dragging. Who wrote the screenplay/script. The main characters had no chemistry...and there so called cute lover's spat that are so redundant made me wanna scream get to the point only once and move on. If you really wanna watch good drama watch Mars and It started with a kiss if you haven't already. I would also recommend Meteor Garden I...ah can't get enough of Vic Zhou...the story also is somewhat dragging but it has its moments. Don't waste time downloading this huge ass file...not worth the time.

Just started downloading this; looking forward to watching it. And for the next month, I nominate Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain (if possible, since there are no seeds ;_; )

I watched the first 9 episodes yesterday (!!!) -- I just couldn't stop watching. Yes, this show is silly and unrealistic, but it's also funny and romantic and absolutely adorable. It's a classic Cinderella story, complete with the prince (of pop) bringing back Xiao Shi's lost shoe at one point. (That's not the only parallel, but I won't ruin it for you.)

I especially love the scenes of Xiao Shi making pasta with her grandpa, and the wonderful relationship she has with her father. Admittedly, there are parts where I've wanted to grab her and strangle her for being so stupid. And what's with her clothes? They're HORRIBLE.

Also, Nicholas Teo is just the cutest thing EVER. My god, what a SMILE. I'd never seen him before, but I'm going to be looking out for him now. I also like Di Zhi Jie as Vincent -- he's actually a pretty good actor, and I love the sly little smiles he gets when He Qun is being particularly ridiculous.
