Just wanted to ask what P2P applications people use. Please note that BitTorrent refers to the original small application. BitComet, utorrent and Azureus all use the BitTorrent protocol, but if you use one of them, vote for it. If you select Other, please post to tell us which one, and why you like it.

fuurin, hate to get technical, but wouldn't utorrent, bc, az and bt all be lumped under 'bittorrent' (as the p2p app)?_________________ Use THUMBS UP/DOWN buttons to KEEP or DELETE posts.

Fuurin made it clear... He wants to know what P2P applications people use, and wants to break down the different BitTorrent protocol-based applications. He's not checking to see what protocol people are using.

Would clubbox be one? Because I normally use that. If not I use utorrent. But I've always wanted to use Share, but I don't understand how to use it. _________________ Icon by quirkyrose

Have you read my Share FAQ? Bara no nai hanaya pops up a bit sooner on Share than BitTorrent, and the downloads are blazingly fast. There are 8 different versions of last night's episode up already. I'd like to post the Share hashes here somewhere, but I am not even sure which section I should post them in.

What problems were you having exactly? I had trouble getting Share to start initially too, but that was because my software firewall was loading into memory on start up, and blocking Share from opening. I used msconfig to remove the firewall from my start up programs, and now Share opens right up.
"Anyway, I'm happy with Clubbox, but i really hope i can use the Japanese P2P programs so that i can get some rare japanese music."
Have you tried WinMX? That's another one that is fairly easy to use.

My Share (p2p application) FAQ explains where to get Share. I've also posted FAQs for WinMX and Utatane.
