On the other hand, the reason that the manga might not have been as popular could be because the main character Hotaru in the manga is of 28 years old --- an age that is likely beyond the age bracket of the majority of the manga readers in Japan.

She carries the charm, beauty and acting skill. I can't think of any other actress who looks better in commercials and magazine scans. She's the only actress who had kept me in a show sheerly for her presence alone.
