have you tried using avisynth and directshowsource to load it into vdub for a conversion test?
I don't know if that will work for wmd files, but it has worked out for me many of times to do quick and dirty re-codes on many types of files.

Are those soft subs like .srt or .ass files? If so, you could open the sub files with notepad to check if they really are duplicated files of episode 1. If they are hardsub its possible that the encodes are screwed and accidentally encoded with the episode 1 subtitle.

The file may also be corrupted. If you have a original crc to go by you can check it. Most likely when it says it may take hours to transfer from a cd, its a clue that the cd or file may be damaged thus causing for bad transfer.

I don't know and never been to btchina, but you may be banned from failure of ratio 1:1 if they have a system like that setup.

There are a lot more to it than meets the ears and eyes to be able to tell the difference of hkdrama, cdrama, sdrama, and twdrama isn't there. It's just too many different chinese languages to know unless of course you're chinese and grew up with the culture, then thats a different story.

we'll be 6-8 ft away from the t.v, normally no sunlight hits the room since we never open the blinds. But the fact still remains that the t.v will be facing the window. Uhmm I screwed up on the posting of the torrent.
Meant to put:
"Wing Chun (AKA Yong Chun) DVD 1 Part1" but ended up putting my name instead in the wrong input box. Now i can't edit it because i am unable to provide info_hash. (No box available)
