The Legend of the First King's Four Gods doesn't end very well. this is not as sad as HGD but i suppose that's because it was not as good too and... well... expected since the very beginning of the show.

i never said anything about the prince becoming a murderer. i was just thinking that an ending twist could be that HGD could lost his life by saving CH (while protecting him). but this is just some assumption from me and anyways, i always think (wrongly) that someone will die in a kdrama. that's all...

i don't know about the original fictional story of HGD but, even if that's something that never happened before in a Hong sisters story/drama, i barely imagine a "happy" ending here; and after seeing ep 17, i would not be surprised if Hong Gil Dong was killed trying to protect the prince. ...
