Truth. The subs of Chihayafuru ~Tsunagu~ are basically Ais's subs, but at least they left the credits in that one.

I noticed that many of the older shows (like early 2000's) now getting released as DVDrips or TBS stream captures are in widescreen which makes me think that they had to be filmed that way. So I've been wondering when they started broadcasting the shows on air as widescreen?

I didn't know DA started in 2003; for some reason I thought it was earlier. Then I was around basically from the beginning. I've been watching it from Day 1. My favorite series this season. I love Takeuchi Yuko. They could make a 2 hour movie of her eating, and I would pay to see it.

And yes, I pulled a muscle laughing when she was addressed as Wato-san. Brilliant!

That's just a database backup. The latest files are dated May 1, when it went down. They may be trying to make it active again though.

Yes, Mousou Kanojo only has 4 eps.

She has a small part in Roosevelt Game.

But she has a larger and very funny role in Tamagawa Kuyakusho of the Dead.

You may want to check out her younger sister, Hirose Suzu.

I think having sections for Japanese, English, and Hungarian subtitles would be great. Other languages too if they get a large subbing fan base.

This had been talked about when the forum software switched over and was planned but never implemented.

Like others here, I've been a member of DA for a long time, even before I registered, so I have a lot of dramas burned onto DVDs. So, I can help with some older (and newer) shows. But my connection isn't that fast, but if it will help....

Thank you! Even before the formatting error, that DF ad made IE9 "load" the page again (the whole page would flash blank and back) when the ad loaded, so it a much nicer experience now.

LOL! I was coming to post the same thing. I noticed that the layout is normal until the dramafever ad loads. Then the ad is vertical and far to the right and pushes the torrent or message section down. Once, for some reason, the as didn't load and D-A looked perfectly normal. Sometimes the ad is on ...

MPC does use .srt and .ass files. I do it all the time.

In the options, under playback, make sure auto-load subtitles is checked.

In subtitles->default style, you can try to check opaque box. I've never tried this but it should do what you need.
