Jazzl, shintee He's lost a lot of weight for that recent movie, MW. His character there is poisoned by a chemical (or biological) weapon when he was a kid and since then his body is failing and he can't feel emotions. That's why he's so thin now. An SP tanpatsu connected to the movie is already out...

I too like villians better :) They are always brighter and more complicated. And I guess, It is a much harder work to play a really interesting main hero. A work that not so many can do. And I'm also excited for his role in Kamui not only because of this but because his character's name - Fudo - giv...

What I got from a Japanese source is that supposedly he and Abiruu secretly (but not secretly enough, apparently) met around pleasure quarters. Then they went to a caraoke club where they spent some hours. After they were finished there he and Yuu being drunk got away in a car that came to pick them...

So now that Keikan no Chi's done with, I really don't think he has much lined up. At least, not until Kamui comes out, which is like in September I think. That's a pity really. I only hope he makes again some travelling program, I like those photos he takes :) And maybe he will have some new series...

First: I don't say his work is bad. It's only that I expected somewhat more considering his previous works. Well, I don't care for yaoi undertone (which I don't see except for one scene) or manga (wich I find poorly made) in Yasha. What inspires me there is the diversity of his two roles, each made ...

Oh, I know what you are talking about concerning his official site! I tried to get membership there half a year ago. But they redirected me to their provider where in polite Japanese I was told I have to live in Japan to get an account. Since I don't live there I could only shrug and go away. Don't ...

Agreed! I have some photos to share. Most of them are from Ito-san's official site but some are not and I'm not quite sure where I found them. They weren't posted here before as far as I know. So... Glad to meet you too, Laurenski! It's great that you're still here and wanting to share information. Thank you very much for the link! Everything there is very interesting and helping to understand, to delve deeper into the movie and Ito-san's character. It was a pleasurable surprise to learn that h...

I am a big fan and would be very grateful if you continue to share information! First saw him in Onmyoji some years back (which pretty much intoduced me to Japan) and absolutely fell in love with him. After that I gradually sought out almost all the movies he was in and about half of his drama list....

I watched RAW when I couldn't find subtitles and just needed to see the Japanese movie or drama. It was incomprehensible at first but with each time there were more and more words and phrases I could understand. So yes, I guess it helps learn the language if you want to learn. I agree with <b>8thSin...

Maybe it was said in this thread already, but I want to point out one thing in Japanese people (I personally know some of them for a couple of years). They are always willing to help if you need help, but they will never approach you on the street and try to chat. Nor will they look into your eyes o...
