Hi everyone, I am looking for a drama that is comedy/romance type. I don't really prefer those dramas where 1 or a few boys are idolized as the hottest guy ever by a whole school. I've only seen a few dramas and they are.. Love Shuffle (thought it was great because the story had great twists and it...

Re: New dramas?
Hey, So can someone please tell me what's a good 'new' drama that is out and it's sub files are being released? I'm currently watching Bloody Monday 2, Yamato Nadeshiko and I saw few episodes of Tokujo Kabachi but not really interested. And I kinda just stopped watching Deep Love and Shokojo Seira....

I really enjoy funny JDramas! Comedy with romance types. A few that I watched and liked are: - First Kiss - Manhattan - Oniyome Nikki - Boys over Flowers (Hana Yori Dango) Any suggestions that I might like? (^.^) The obvious answer for you may be Hana Kimi , if you haven't seen it yet. Other than t...

Seems like an old topic was brought back from the dead. If your goal is fluency, and you plan to study on your own, input (i.e. listening, reading), should take central focus. Listen to Japanese, all the time. In fact, go to All Japanese All The Time and read up. This guy knows what he's talking abo...

It's up at ADC, if you have an account there.
Amour Legende @ Asian DVD Club
Pretty strange film. At last it's finally on DVD, though.

I'm in almost the same exact boat as you in terms of Dramas influence on my life. I feel that it's not worth it to be in a relationship at this time, college is right around the corner and that means break-up...usually; followed by various things that I don't really wish to deal with. Anyways, Drama...

Yeah, Eita's character is really interesting to me...I wonder how he will develop. Eita's character seems to have the most mystery surrounding him. Is he gay? Was that just a joke from his good friend? What is his and Asami's character's relationship, or what was it? So many questions in this drama,...

Wow! Super good first episode! I think all of the actors/actresses are perfectly cast for their parts. Mizukawa Asami really adds a brightness to the drama, I really like her weirdness and the way she expresses her character. Ueno Juri is also playing quite a different character in this drama, and p...

Dramas...well, if you haven't watched Stand Up!!! then you should watch that. For a different kind of drama i'd watch Haikei, Chichiue-sama. Its a quiet drama with great camerawork and acting, although many consider it a bit boring. Also, his most recent drama, Yamada Taro Monogatari is a more mains...

As to the ending of Shindo... The ending of Shindo...Its tough to say. She, throughout the movie is constantly perceptive about her hearing because of what happened to her father. It does seem like she is deaf in the last 10 or so minutes of the movie(maybe she's pretending), but at the end, she rep...

Kubozuka Yosuke's accident was ... On June 6, 2004, he survived a fall of approximately 26 meters from the balcony of his ninth-floor condominium in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, sustaining only minor injuries. I think many believed it to be suicide, but that was denied by Yosuke, etc. I'm not sure...

^Kubozuka Yosuke is an amazing actor. He's had a few movies since the accident and I really hope he has a lot more. Just a bright non-JE star thats incredibly fun to watch on the screen. I think Ninomiya Kazunari is the best actor of the bunch, although Jun has had some very convincing roles, like the last 10 or so minute scene of Boku Wa Imouto Ni Koi Wo Suru where they are playing rock-paper-scizzors. Kame is fun to watch, and Yamapi as well. Yamapi has had some great acting scene...

What an incredibly beautiful and talented young actress. I first saw her in 1 Litre of Tears and thought her portrayal of her character was really great. She's also had a bunch of movie leads and appearances, which is notable for a 15 year old girl (she can look both young and older, its amazing). H...
