I actually got it right? Yay!! :D That's a first for me. I like Kashiwabara Takashi so he was so recognizable.

Well then, here's the next one.

It looks like a scene from the movie "Another Heaven" but this is for J-dramas only, right?

Or is this the drama version?

hi guys! how to say the following in japanese in a good/pleasant/joking way? (in kanji if possible) "you and your foul mouth as usual!" Well I'd say 相変わらずの口汚いな. But then my Japanese is only colloquial and pretty rude^^ @Keiko1981 sometimes you might find hiragana at the japanese wiki page for a dra...

First time I saw her was while watching a Kindaichi movie, "Legend of the Shanghai Maid" on TV many, many years ago. I believe she was only about 14 years old then. I'm glad she has made it as an actress after so many years.

gozen rei ji is the right yomikata The correct way to write reiji is 零時.Rei means zero. Reiji indicates time while yonaka simply is the word for midnight, middle of the night. I could be wrong, but I don't believe 夜中 has any specific time defined by it other than it just literally meaning "middle...

I have watched some American movies in Japanese on TV before while in Japan. I have heard of American movies dubbed in English being shown in cinemas in Japan too, not just on TV. Not too sure if there is any place to get them online. Might not be very readily available since the demand for it outsi...

Four weeks isn't a very long time to have studied the language. I'm not sure if "chotto", "demo" and "zenzen" are even taught to you yet. To answer your question, they are neither time nor location. "Chotto" is an adverb. I copied this from the dictionary with the sample sentences: (1) just a minute...

Well regarding shooting the door down. Actually I've seen many cop shows both American and HK dramas/movies shot down doors. But I don't recall seeing cops shoot down the doors in Jdramas. Well, I guess that's because Takakura Sou grew up in Japan and was originally an elite from NYPD? What was unc...

I just watched "Shiawase no Soup wa Ikaga?" (Taste of Happiness) starring Nari and Annie Liu, a collaboration drama of NHK and RHTK(Hongkong). A 2-eps drama special. It's pretty good! And Nari is so cute there, speaking in Kansai dialect^^ I also like his chemistry with Annie Liu. The story is simp...

I voted for "Kou Kou Kyoushi" because I loved the 2003 version a lot. And it would be wonderful to watch the older version. But this 1993 version isn't the original either. The first one was filmed in the 1970s. (I wasn't even born yet.)

You can change the language of the phone from Japanese to English. And there are certain models sold by Vodafone and Docomo which use SIM cards. Those can be used outside of Japan. But you'll most probably need to do parallel import, which can be quite expensive, or make a trip down to Japan yoursel...
