They're usually inside other shows. That human tetris you are referring too, is part of the "tunnels no minasan no okage deshita".
Pussuma, mechaike... sometimes feature some too. (if I'm not mistaking, it's hard to remember all the shows name)

Try and install VLC Media Player, if you can't hear sound with that, then it's the sound card / speakers, not a codec issue.

You probably just need to install the language pack for east asian.

Can you read that: 日本語

if you can't, you definitely need to install it ;)

My windows in french so I'm not sure hjow to guide you, but on google look for "Windows IME Japanese" that should do the trick.

yea if you're not on a Japanese OS you're gonna have trouble, it will see the "folder" as ???? so it doesn't exist. You have to rename it before extracting. But since you have the cache normally it won't remove the file from uploading, it's doing so from the cache, you can see re-rename it...

Softsub cause I prefer watching without subtitles after I watch with once. It's good to watch with to understand the main plot and stuff but after when I rewatch a show I prefer without subs. Especially since I'm learning the language better that way. I can focus on the show, not the text.

I don't like x264 so I'm happy with what is upped. x264 has more vertical lines so when you try to convert to another format it messes up everything, it's blurry, it can't be played on standalone player. HD version in XviD/DivX are easier to downsample if needed to be played on standalone player.

Personally I put on external hard drives. I used to burn onto DVDR as backup but at the end you end up with a huge collection of DVDR and usually it doesn't fit very well and leave some room at the end of the disk, I like to fill them up to not waste these extra MB lol.
