I'm kind of confused that they often use modern kanji (新字体) instead of what was in use back in the Edo period when they show neatly written text. E.g. the 道 in 道名津, 黒 in 黒糖 etc. Seems like such a silly oversight that it must have been intentional, but why? Do they think their viewers are morons and ...
