Usagi: Funny you should mention how bad the manga "Tokyo Juliet" is, because I think it made one of the worst series I've ever seen here. Everybody's on some emotional roller coaster. Their designs were stolen, thrown in the river, set on fire, etc. No less than four guys chased her and th...

A thought--I haven't read the entire thread, so I apologize is I'm duplicating anyone, but how much trouble would it be to use the same picture but different colors, which could cycle for multi-role folks?

Also, do we really get a banner just for uploading one series?

Okay, before the question, another--why does he bother to kill those last four or so people? By then, he's hard down in love with her and must know he can't kill her, so what's the point? If he explained in conversation or on the cd in the last episode, I didn't get it with my primitive Japanese. He...

Yeah, Ando dies twice, you'll like it. does anybody else think that little smile of his at the end is cause he knows it isn't quite over? How do you guys do that "hidden" thing? I've a question but don't want to spoil any more for Kae-chan, et al.

For the record, that ending sucked!! I was right about her ex, wrong about a number of things, and still have a few questions, but I guess life isn't tidy or fair. Kumaxell, you have subs for this series?!! where?!?! If that woman's life was this big a downer all the time, she'd be burned out and cl...

I agree this is maddening and I've wondered also why nobody was talking about it. My Japanese is only good enough to give me about 30% of dialogue, but improves with the action. I have questions, though, about the long term plot here. What happened with the publishing OL and the writer's secretary? ...

Yeah, he played Ueto Aya's father in a series I saw last year. Short dark hair and a beard.

I had no idea the manga Ryo was supposed to be 23. That would place him at Inagaki's real life age. Did any of you see Inagaki in Holyland? If you didn't, you should. I was a little disappointed that he was back to playing a comic sidekick in Yaoh, because he is very talented, but I think watching e...

Diiferent tastes, but also different seasons. Winter audiences have a braoder range of ages, so more shows aimed at adults. I'm liking a number of things: Rondo, Unfair, Saiyuuki, Yaoh. If every season had the same heavy doses of "teen" dramas as the last one, I'd get bored out of my mind....

I'm curious to see what's going to happen to his career. He's moving from hunk-idol roles to adult actor stuff in the last 2 years. I think he's very talented, but his early successes kind of type cast him for a while. I like the 2 of them together, even when they aren't playing partners, like in To...

Relax, it's NOT an ill omen, it's just Camelot symdrome. It does rain once a summer, it's just very late this year. Usually comes with the fire works. Being a little spoiled cause rain here is generally house trained and polite (i.e. quiet) doesn't mean you've been here too long, just means you're a...

My vote's for Zoom player. It plays everything (including real media files) and the codec manager and other utilities are worth keeping it even if you still loved an old player! I like also the frame copy command, so handy for making those pesky avatar snaps! BTW, even windows media player will play...

OK, I knew there was a manga out there, somewhere in the ether, which logically means some people must know how the story ends, but NOW I'm going to be tortured by my insatiable curiosity until the end of the series!! Does anyone know if this manga exists anywhere in an English version? (I will NOT ...

Hi: Hayward here--Did y'all know that Densha Otoko just started tonight on KTSF? I didn't know they had the money for first run stuff--or that their Sunday lineup wasn't just game/talk shows. Guess I should watch TV more. My Midwestern Brother is buggin' me to move back by him, and can't figure out ...

Hi: 8) Short summary: The owner was a rich kid who was kidnapped when young. His kidnapper fed him nothing but cake, so he hates the stuff. He opened the shop as an adult to try to get over the aversion. The boxer had to quit for his health (that's not too much of a spoiler, right?) He wanted to fin...
