I personally really liked it but I'm not sure if anyone else would As I said before, I think the movie is a lot more fun if you go in knowing nothing about the story, don't even watch the trailer. For me, it was two hours of "where the hell is this movie going?" but when the credits came, ...

I'm still watching Hana Kimi, I'm still only 5 episodes in after over a month because it's soo good that I don't want to finish it too quickly. (rewatched first 5 a few times already) I don't really know any jdrama that is better than those two, as they're kind of unique in terms of storyline & ...

Nice tallying Maki-sama and tomohia is so high on the list :P. Anyway, I don't particulary dislike any japanese actors/actresses until a week ago, when I watched Karei naru spy. God! Fukada Kyoko irritates me so much for some reason. Her voice makes me want to kill a kitten (Stephen Lynch reference ...

Learning vocab through TV is awesome. The pronounciation is so distinct most of the time that I can easily look up interesting words on my dictionary. Learned plenty of adjectives this way. About grammar. Do you know any good books for it? All my books pretty much stops after the "te forms".

There's so many resources online for learning japanese. Kind of confusing finding the best and most useful ones with all of them promoting "we're the best". After two years, most of them just teach the same basics -_-. For this summer, I'm just going to stick to : My Kanji in Context textb...

I just saw a good jmovie. I have to say it's my 2nd favourite JMovie, behind Okuribito. It's called "Fish Story" . I read the review of it on N-cinema and it received good comments so I watched it today. I find the comedy, action and plot mediocre but the movie as a whole somehow feels abo...

I personally don't find japanese movies very enjoyable. I've watched about 6 japanese movies in the last two months and all of them ended up quite disappointing. Kurosagi- not going to repeat myself (my views are expressed in the discussion thread). MW - Filled with plotholes, missing scenes and not...

I don't feel like reading 8 pagesof discussion before me so here's my thoughts although they're likely to be mentioned already. It was boring, I could leave it at that. I didn't expect any major development as the manga isn't over yet but I can't believe that there was only one main target in the mo...

Unfortunately, I'm one of the rare few who realised Irish isn't their cup of tea before entering secondary school and got an exemption in it so I don't have a clue what you just said :P. The only thing that is motivating me to do the little study I'm doing now is so I have a less guilty conscience i...

@EnderYou're not kidding about being long o_O, that is not a review, it's more of an analysis :P. I love reading analysis of things I love but sorry, I gave up after 20 paragraphs. I'll read it after my exams. Thanks for writing it though, after watching Nobuta wo Produce, I fell in love with the 3 ...
