Re: Comparing Options for Watching Japanese TV from Overseas

JapanNetTV is now also offering Hikari TV as an android APK . The channel list is identical to the Hikari TV box, so I imagine it's a straight port. This field is getting crowded, and that's a good thing. It also looks like they now have 7 day recording for all of the Japanese Channels. May have to...

Re: Comparing Options for Watching Japanese TV from Overseas

Hi again, Thanks to everyone for your answers about my iHome problem. So I've pretty much given up on fixing my iHome ip900. I'm actually looking for a new box, which box and seller will you recommend me? (Uchi, iHome 2 and Hikari look pretty interesting) For me, it's important to have the 7 days p...

Re: Comparing Options for Watching Japanese TV from Overseas

Hello Guys, It's my first post on this forum. I'm having a big problem with my iHome IP900 that I bought from Lee at Shenzhen Sunvysat LTD's store (I bought it in december 2012 and it's the first time I have so much trouble with it). Since the 5th of July, it can't connect to the server anymore, th...

Re: Comparing Options for Watching Japanese TV from Overseas

been using WorldTV for the past few months - quite happy with it, and so are my kids and wife. Only real reason we picked this over UchiTv was because of Disney Channel. the kids love it and have so much to watch along with Animax. but downside is the 5 day recording only. means we have to watch th...

Re: Comparing Options for Watching Japanese TV from Overseas

Hikari works really well. Picture is really good, similar to iHome IP900. Some channels seems to be real HD on Hikari. Also Hikari as more channels then iHome IP900. The replay works well, with some channels the replay is a minute late but when it's the case i go to previous hour and fast forward(s...

Re: Comparing Options for Watching Japanese TV from Overseas

For quality and reliability, iHome IP900 and Hikari are really the best. Picture quality is the best and also there is not really any buffering or freezing issues when your watching live tv or replay. Also for me, i feel quality of picture is the best on both tv box compare to other service. Yes Hi...

Re: Comparing Options for Watching Japanese TV from Overseas

So with a few of you guys saying iHOME 2 standalone box is good, is the quality any different from the ihome 2/rakutv apk? I was never really impressed with the ihome 2 apk video quality [~July trial] and always thought Uchi was clearer. Granted Uchi used about 30gb when i ran it 3 days straight :l...

Re: Comparing Options for Watching Japanese TV from Overseas

Has anyone experienced any problems with their iHome unit recently? Mine froze on the white map screen during the boot sequence, and refused to progress to the channel-select screen. Is this an indication something's failing in the unit itself, or perhaps the SD Card? Any help would be most appreci...

Thank you both for your reply! I did purchase the iHome 2 from http://www.freesuntv.com. I went with "Pato's" recommendations and contacted Yetta from the http://www.freesuntv.com website. I have to say I was more impressed than I thought I would be. I am always skeptical to purchase items from mai...
