I recommend Breakout (2010)! It can be a bit melodramatic, but it's fun and action-y!

If you're looking for "rich girl with a bad attitude," try the Singapore drama "Breakout." The guy isn't rich, though. The relationship is fairly engaging to watch!

I vaguely remember doing a lot of reading by lamp-light (e-books on cell phones are saving my boring nights now!) and watching old TV shows and horror movies. And I did a lot more hiking, I think, though it's more lack of energy than presence of internet that keeps me from hiking nowadays.

My two cousins have this thing every time Lunar New Year comes around where they exchange red envelopes - only the amount of money in each is the same. So, they're not gaining or losing any money! Goofs.

It's definitely possible. For example, I'm friends with a dude that I used to play wing-man(woman?) for. Y'know, talk him up to the girls he's interested in. He didn't do such a good job of playing wingman for me, though, despite the fact that we have different types. >:P

Definitely not in love. All the girls I thought I could be crushing on turned out to be straight, and/or married with kids, or engaged to be married.

Probably, if my parents didn't have a good reason to dislike the woman. If they do, I'd listen to them and consider why they don't like her. Depends on the situation, I guess.

I think a balanced mix is good. And for me, sometimes the girl's lovely personality will make her less-than-conventional beauty seem more.. mainstream?

I don't remember the name of the drama my parents and I watched when I was a kid, but the first drama (with english subtitles) I watched on my own was "Breakout." I'm a sucker for those mentally disturbed femme fatales.
