If you're looking for "rich girl with a bad attitude," try the Singapore drama "Breakout." The guy isn't rich, though. The relationship is fairly engaging to watch!

I vaguely remember doing a lot of reading by lamp-light (e-books on cell phones are saving my boring nights now!) and watching old TV shows and horror movies. And I did a lot more hiking, I think, though it's more lack of energy than presence of internet that keeps me from hiking nowadays.
