If you're so interested in Japanese culture, then you should know that politeness is one of the cornerstones of this particular culture, as it is for any high culture. Now who's being arrogant? Re: Dramas or Movies about 9/11, terrorism or Islam?

I think it's not quite clear what you're looking for - is it anything with a terrorist theme that came out after 9/11 or is it especially about 9/11 related terror acts and islamic radical fundamentalists? And I think the poster before is right to point out that "terrorism or Islam" makes...

As far as I know there is an English translation but it's out of stock. Btw, acidkung, what's that about Akira, Shuji and Nobuta being legs? ^^; I mean... If they are the legs, then what is the pig? The friendship? And why is Akira the back, why Shuuji the right and why Nobuta the left leg? This is ...

Besides, how do you know that the mangaka didn't want it to be serialized in another country? Especially if your own wasn't doing anything? I can't tell wheather or not Taiwan is pro-Japan or the other way around, but I certainly do know that they promote for Meteor Garden in the Hanadan FF Charact...

Never really did like the 'bad boy' archetype, nor did I ever really get the 'fighting/bickering=love' cliche. That's why I root for Rui, though its pretty darn obvious he's going to lose in the end IMO. I can only speak for myself, the reason why I like the love-hate relationship is that I persona...

@ wing_wing :I get your point aboout Soujiro having done something for Sara that Doumyouji wouldn't have back then. But I don't think it's due to their maturity but simply because Soujiro had someone who he could rely on, someone who spend him warmth, who offered him an honest friendship, whereas Do...

hmm_yeh : What are you saying? You don't bother me at all. It's pretty much fun actually, especially when I can use the chance to play little tricks on you . :P Ah, no no, I won't do this again. Promise. Hehe. As for the climax, now you probably got me wrong again. Yes, it actually is the most like...

But in the end, I think that Nobuta somehow forgave Aoi, she was truly happy it was just a dream, she didn't want Aoi to die, and she could even take Aoi's hand and say yugatta... Forgiveness doesn't always mean that you'll become friends again and start to hang out with each other, the scar will m...

that is just sooooo sweet.... makes me wonder whether tukasa would do the same as well in that situation Question: Did you read the manga? Or watch the anime? Or the J-drama? Or at least Meteor Garden? If so you should remember the scene when he lets himself beat up in order to protect Tsukushi whi...

@ hmm_yeh : A climax is the most dramatic point of the story. Usually it's not in the middle of the story but rather towards the end. What you learned is probably that it's rare to find a climax that is at the VERY end as there are usually at least a couple of minutes when everything eases off after...

True, true. But in the case the ending won't be good (as some of us might be afraid of) we came up with an alternate ending: Tsukushi fights the SPs in order to rescue Doumyouji.
I want to add, she's wearing a Lara Croft outfit and her weapons are from Super Mario.

Read this:
You know... I was just kidding. (Say thanks to shiru-chan. It was her idea. :P) Here's the real translation of the lines:
Next week for the finale
a 15 mintues special!!
Will fortuna smile at them...?! (= Will everything be good)
Don't miss the emotional climax!!
:lol :lol :lol

Translation of the last lines:

Next week for the last time
a 15 mintues special!!
Will Doumyouji survive it?
Will Tsukushi come to save him in time?
Or will it be 'Good-bye, Doumyouji'?

Oh, no no, non-angelical, as techie said it was our own fault for reading what was in the spoiler tag. Usually as long as I've watched the most recent episode I think there's nothing others can spoil for me, but I was DEADLY mistaken. =_= There were spoiler for the ending in the j-drama forum (I fou...

I mean, you didn't know what was in the spoiler tag whereas I did as you pointed out what you're writing about before. Awww!!! :hissy: I hop...
