Re: [Discussion] Seirei no Moribito (NHK, 2016)
Didn't know there'd be a 2nd season. Curious about the first episode of it at least to see what happens with brave Balsa. Probably won't watch the entire 2nd season.

Re: The Identification Thread for Celebrities & Dramas
I often use the main site's individual actor page to see what other series they did, and noticed some of their headshots are really not representative of what they really look like. The Rina Uchiyama(?) headshot looks like she got plastic surgery or she got older and her face got weird. I saw her in...

Re: Ryoko Hirosue
I did not know she could look so good as she did in Yasuko to Kenji. It's probably the longer hair.
She also looked like the foxy woman in the Masakazu mystery special. Interesting to see her move away from college kid roles to the hottie woman roles.

Masterful subtitles! I like the perfectly timed English credits with the Japanese credits.
After watching 3 episodes, not a great story or characters, but not pure crap either.

I've seen good quality 360p. 480p is good too.

Re: [Discussion] GTO (remake)
Soramachi made the role his. The other guy didn't seem to fit. Not much interest in watching any more of the other guy's version.

It was kinda interesting watching the kind hearted little girl being nice to fart boy, but later episodes didn't seem really interesting. Too depressing.

Re: RECOMMENDED/FAVORITE JDRAMAS (ask for suggestions here)
I already watched Love Generation and really liked it. The older VHS stuff just doesn't seem available. I stumbled upon With Love with "Animal Shinji" and Norika Fujiwara and the quality sure looks like VHS. I want to rewatch To Friday's Lovers that featured Glay's Happiness song.

Re: RECOMMENDED/FAVORITE JDRAMAS (ask for suggestions here)
I want to watch some stuff from the 90s and I remember some nice opening/closing songs used. Do these oldies exist digitally? Maybe the oldest stuff I found was Musashi, Concerto, Cheap Love, Utsukushii Hito, Beautiful Life, Akimahende. I found Batsu Kare, but no subs.

Friends by REBECCA is a fantastic song. It was in Ryoko Hirosue's Lipstick. I bought the CD single in Tokyo.
