Re: Japanese shows about food +/ cooking
Not a drama, but you can try NHK's Trails to Tsukiji. Each episode introduces a type of food, and explores where and how it's grown, and the various dishes that can be made from it. For food dramas, maybe try these? Tenno no Ryoriban - about the famous imperial chef Akiyama Tokuzo Samurai Gourmet -...

My favorite show remains Kodoku no Gurume, I love its simplicity, pure enjoyment of food by the protagonis...

Daisu...

Re: RECOMMENDED/FAVORITE JDRAMAS (ask for suggestions here)
If you haven't checked it out, I'd highly recommend Shinya Shokudo. Apparently, there's a Korean version that's on now, but I Haven't seen it. I also liked Coffee-ya no Hitobito. On a completely different note, I did watch and really enjoy Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san, but it's not quite in the same g...

Re: RECOMMENDED/FAVORITE JDRAMAS (ask for suggestions here)
What good food jdramas would you recommend? I got hooked to jdramas with Kodoku no gurume. It is a masterpiece in my opinion. (Incidentally, does anyone know if a new season is upcoming or they just didn't renew it?) I'm also enjoying Hondana Shokudo, following fellow Earth Buri's subtitles as they ...
