What do Swedish ppl think of Midsommar movie?

This movie is very disturbing but very interesting and the cinematography is amazing. Acting is great! Especially Florence Pugh! As this movie is very popular right now, I'm sure you know the plot. A group of American uni students go to Sweden to experience midsummer festivals organised by a mysteri...

Re: Adult Coloring Books Addicts

I don't colour professionally or regularly; however, I like colouring when I listen to youtubers talking about history, self-help, philosophy. it's kinda therapeutic for me :roll I like Johanna Basford's works : Secret Garden, Lost Ocean, Enchanted Forest etc.

Re: Mizuki Alisa

The raws for After School are really low quality :-( but I'd like to give it a try :rambo:
Now that you've mentioned it, yes, her eyes resemble Masaki Suda's :-) She is so underrated nowadays in my opinion. Young Alisa is one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen.

Any jdrama like The Crown?

I don't know if it's the right section to write to but as I was watching The Crown which is about Queen Elizabeth's life, I became curious if there were any jdrama series or movies which are based on the real life story of Japanese imperial family. Especially the events after the second world war? i...

Re: Serious J crime/detective dramas/thrillers? Does a Japanese The Wire exist?

Border (2014)
Kurokouchi (2013)

Personal faves ( these series are mystery series but highly recommended not that dark , tho. Two seasons have been aired so far.)
Namonaki Doku ( first season)
Petero no Souretsu ( second season)

Amazon Prime for jdrama

I can watch original Netflix jdrama and some series with eng subs on Netflix. I wonder if Amazon Prime original jdrama series have English subs if I subscribe? I know there are a lot Japanese shows there but do they provide eng subs as well like Netflix? Now that the subtitles will be taken off, I n...
