it is really bad initially. never hear more than a second or two at once at first, but after about 3-4 minutes it went rock solid. I assume i finally connected to enough peers. to maintain stable playback.

Well, SARS lists it as Death Note (1/2) on their torrent webpage, so i'd say them and Mishicorp plan on doing 2 also.
The post on the SARS forum also mentioned a HQ version of 1 coming soon.

i just finished both koukou kyoushi's. I liked '93 over '03 but if we are just comparing Aya, to her other roles, I think she did very very good in this role. Her acting and such were Definitely better than ace or attack. better than attention please? i'm not sure.

this show reminds me so much why i canceled my satellite TV service 2 years ago. I'm sure main stream Japanese TV is no better really from what I've heard, but at least most of that stuff never shows up on torrents in the places i stick my nose into. I d/l'd the first show to see for myself if it wa...

Lukas sells Harushika and Tsukasa Botan, both excellent sake's. I am drinking Harushika right now. It's very dry and flavorful. Both of these should taste very "fresh", with a slight sourness when drunk at room temperature, but very smooth when drunk very cold. They are $40-$50 for a 1.8L bottle. O...

Re: Planning a trip to Japan and just need some help, please

If you're going to Japan, absolutely make a list of what you MUST see and go from there. Travel isn't cheap. My friend just came to visit and she was able to buy a special pass that let her ride the JR/Shinkansen/etc. at one set price. I'll try to see if I can find out its name. You can only get it...

The only place in the town I just moved to that sells sake is a mom & pop liquor store. They only carried a single sake when i first went in there :( It was a really basic and plain bottle of 白鶴 (Hakutsuru) for like $9. image The first time I went in there, I was on my way to a Christmas party and n...

Can anyone recommend a ryokan/onsen in Hakone? My fiancée and I are planning on 2 nights in Hakone on March 28 & 29. I think the first couple nights we will be staying at her parents house and the balance of the trip will be a hotel in Shinjuku or Shibuya. Last time I stayed at the サクラフルール青山(Sakura ...

Tokyo is hot and humid in the summer. I prefer the Shibuya style over the Harajuku stuff, but both are quite good in their own way. Harajuku is more individualistically creative while Shuibuya is more fashion/designer driven in my opinion. I stayed at a hotel only 2-3 blocks from Shibuya Station (渋谷...

The biggest problem with "traditions" is that a lot of them are often local and not necessarily national. That is why I was asking here. Boards like this one with such a diverse population give me a better chance of learning the things that everyone just knows "because it is always been like this" ...

Wedding/Marriage traditions?

I was wondering if anyone could point me in a good direction to learn about wedding and marriage traditions in Japan.
