I'm guessing it's going to be a tanpatsu and not a full series. Unless NHK announces a new drama time slot, there's no room in their schedule for a series, since Sunday is still Atsuhime and Shizu-chan's drama is taking the Thursday time slot.

Rumor has it that Mitsuki Tanimura is starring.

I love the series, but it seems it's just too different from typical dramas, which probably turned off a lot of the Japanese viewers. It doesn't really follow any formulas, doesn't fall into a standard genre, doesn't have any real gimmicks, there are no "must-see" events in the episodes......

"Momo no Hanabira" and "PEACH" are different songs. "PEACH" is her new single coming out next month.

I just read that there's a spinoff drama being aired on the official site. It's being shown in 3-minute episodes after each TV ep, and it focuses on the minor characters.

Just to note, Seishun ENERGY dramas usually run between 1 and 3 months. They're 20 mins per episode and the show airs late at night, which is likely why they get overlooked. I think the only one people cared about was Mou Hitotsu no Sugar & Spice because it had Toda Erika.

I don't know if I'd really call Haken no Hinkaku a family-oriented drama, since it's mostly about people dealing with issues in the workplace.

You might also want to look into "Asakusa Fukumaru Ryokan," though I doubt anyone will sub it. Same thing with "Kippari!"
