the single biggest overrated kdrama will have to be winter sonata. It was such a smash hit when it aired, esp. in Korea and Japan. But if you look at the story it is pretty much crap.

I'm surprised that this show is not getting the recognition on this forum, since this is pretty much the highest rated drama in Korea at the moment - I think. And for the most part the history is spot on, unlike the shameful fiction that is Dae Jo Yong and others of that ilk.

Jumong fans, even if you love the drama please don't pose it as historical. It is at best a loose interpretation of the several facts and many mythologies that describe that period in time.
