Sadly it seems that women get treated rather badly in just about any Asian series.

Not only the physical abuse, but also verbal and mental. The pressure from society and its heavy expectations, the double standards compared to the men... that is one of my major problems with them.

After the fist 4 eps this series is looking good (and so is Lee Da Hae). As usual there are several irritating characters but not too bad at this stage.

Love it how nearly all the non upper class people look like they need a good hose down and scrub except for the female leads.

I had something dodgy install itself a few months ago from here. After scans with half a dozen scanners I found and removed a few dodgy files.

Now I use Chrome, and it sometimes warns me that threats are on certain pages, though none here so far. More security = good.

Call me pessimistic, but given the kind of cruddy productions that come out of the US, they would, in all likelyhood, completely botch any remakes or adaptations. So no, I don't think they should try.
